An asthma-prediction programme and University of Auckland spin-out, with a public website, two explainer films, and a co-design tool setting out how the app shows a person their risk. The site is live and both films run on it.

A translational asthma-prediction programme and University of Auckland spin-out, combining a smartphone application, a wearable alerting layer, and an ongoing randomised controlled trial.

The work

The work below is everything around the prediction model. I did not build the model.

  1. The public website — digipredict.io. v2 live since 2026-07-15.
  2. Two explainer films — a 1:09 patient cut and a 1:19 partner cut. Both run on the live site.
  3. A co-design tool — an HTML design specification for the app’s components, defining how risk is depicted: gauges, meters, the in-app widget, toast, and notification. Built and delivered.
  4. The frontend prototype.
  5. The Azure Function deployment.

Where it stands

Now recruiting patients for a prospective study aimed at validation.
